Psychological damage impacts the lives of women in Guatemala every day. According to the Human Rights report, the crime of psychological violence against women has the highest incidence, followed by physical violence.

The evidence shows that an adolescent mother who suffered violence will not have the same opportunities throughout their life for insertion in the job market. Therefore, she will not achieve financial independence.
